Open space, country air and peace refresh you. Bird songs echo gently in the woods as swans, geese, and peacocks ramble in the gardens. A herd of Scottish heritage Belted Galloway cows grazes in the fields along with miniature horses. You may see deer grazing at dusk and you may see turkeys, rabbits and other wildlife as you stroll,
- Ferncroft is an excellent venue for weddings, reunions, retreat, classes or catered dinning on a country estate.
Ferncroft has classes in plein air painting, cooking, landscaping and other subjects as instructors allow.

The Low Country Lodge and Dining Room can accommodate 70+ guests. It also has an apartment that can sleep four and is used as a B and B rental as will as a dressing room and prep room for brides.

Ferncroft's Low Country Barn/Lodge has been renovated from a bulk tobacco barn to an event venue. With its screened porch, complete kitchen, luxury ADA restroom and beautiful dining hall complete with the "Good Dog Bar", the Low Country Barn/Lodge can accommodate 50- 70 guests for seated meals or buffets as desired. Delicious farm-to-table meals can be extended to the exterior to accommodate more than 100. The event field can accommodate tents, tables and parking for 250+.
